Refund and Cancellation Policy
At Lnk8, we aim to ensure flexibility and transparency for our customers. Please review the following guidelines for managing cancellations and requesting refunds on your subscription.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Process:
1. Initiating Cancellation:
Customers can cancel their subscription by providing 30 days' written notice. To do this, log in to your Lnk8 account, go to account settings, and follow the prompts to cancel, or email our support team at [email protected].
2. Timing of Cancellation:
- The termination date will coincide with the end of your current billing cycle.
- You will retain access to Lnk8’s services until the conclusion of this billing period.
3. Subscription Fee Liability:
- If you initiate the cancellation, you are only liable for the subscription fee for the current billing period.
- If Lnk8 terminates your subscription, no further fees will be due beyond the termination.
Termination Confirmation:
Upon completing the cancellation process, you will receive a confirmation email. Please verify receipt to ensure your cancellation is processed.
Post-Cancellation Access:
- After cancellation, access to Lnk8’s services will end at the conclusion of your current billing cycle.
- If you were on a paid plan, you can continue using Lnk8 under the free plan’s features and applicable limits after the termination date.
Survival of Terms:
Any terms within this agreement that logically extend beyond termination will remain in effect after the termination date.
Refund Policy
Eligibility for Refunds:
1. Pro-Rated Refunds for Yearly Plans:
If you are on a yearly plan and decide to cancel, you may be eligible for a partial refund. We will deduct the cost for each quarter used and refund the remaining balance of your subscription.
2. Overcharges and Billing Errors:
If you believe there has been an incorrect charge, please reach out within 14 days of the charge to request a refund.
Refund Process:
1. Requesting a Refund:
Contact customer support at [email protected], providing details of the issue, your account information, and transaction details.
2. Approval and Processing:
Refund requests are subject to review and approval. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
Limitations:
Refunds are not issued due to general dissatisfaction with the service, as the link-shortening service is intangible and non-returnable.
Policy Modifications:
